Diane Therese (Lefebvre) Soucy, 69, of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on September 23, 2017. Diane was born in Manchester, NH on September 6, 1948 to Louis and Claire (Desrosiers) Lefebvre. She graduated from St. George’s High School (Manchester) in 1966. On March 5, 1982, she married Bernard P. Soucy, also of Manchester.
Diane worked for many years as a clerk for the City of Manchester’s Environmental Protection Division. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and arts and crafts, but her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her beloved family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was also a very devoted and active member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and directing the Consolers Group.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Bernard, her mother, Claire Lefebvre of Goffstown, daughter Ann Mason and husband William of Raymond, son Dave Soucy and wife Shelby of Merrimack, daughter Jeannine Soucy of Manchester, son Paul Soucy and wife Suzanne of Manchester, daughter Christine (Soucy) Pelletier and friend Dan Guimond of Goffstown, eight grandchildren, her sister Elaine Mondor and husband Michael of Hooksett, and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis J. Lefebvre.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 am in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 207 Hemlock St., Manchester. Inurnment will follow the funeral at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
