Tracy A. (Smith) Tyler, age 46, of Mansfield, passed away, surrounded by her adoring family on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford.
Born in Dorchester, MA on November 20, 1970, she was a loving daughter of Suzanne E. (Sheridan) Fillion of Mansfield and Glenn F. Smith of North Easton.
A resident of Mansfield for most of her life, Tracy was educated in Mansfield and Norton and was a 1989 graduate of the New Testament Christian School in Norton. Following graduation, she had also attended Dean Junior College in Franklin.
Tracy had been employed in the merchandising department at Kohl’s in Mansfield, and while living in Florida had worked for St Paul’s Insurance Co.
Tracy’s son was the essence and pride of her life. She loved spending time with her family, and her hobbies included scrapbooking, cooking and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her devoted son Dillon J. Tyler of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Yvette M. DiMaio and her husband Bob of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, Kimberly F. Suarez of East Taunton, Christopher P. Smith and his wife Heather of Kentucky, Daniel E. Fillion of Mansfield and Rebecca N. Fillion of Mansfield. She is also survived by her cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Saturday, September 30th at 11:30 A.M. in the Assembly of God Church, 1052 Newport Avenue, South Attleboro. A reception will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, Tracy’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to Dillon J. Tyler, care of Sharon Credit Union, 100 Forbes Blvd, Mansfield, MA 02048.
