STEEP FALLS- Victoria Kathleen Grant, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 22, 2017.
She was born in Boston, MA on June 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Lawrence Sr. and Helena (Bergstrom) Leigh.
Victoria is a graduate of Medway, MA schools and Westbrook College, where she received an Associate’s Degree in Business Management.
She worked at Wild Acres Turkey Farm, Cornwall, and Data General, along with the companies that later held ownership.
She will always be remembered for her love of reading & cooking. She took cooking classes and was known by her friends and family for her famous pies.
She is predeceased by her brother- Lawrence Leigh Jr. who was killed in Vietnam in 1968.
Victoria is survived by her husband of 53 years- George Grant Jr.; her children- George Grant III of MA and Andrea Blais and her husband Francois of Biddeford; sister- Gail Grundy of Wiscasset; and grandchildren- Miranda and Jocelyn of Biddeford.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday Sept. 30 from 1 – 4 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
