SPRINGFIELD - Brenda C. Garrow, 51, of the East Forest Park section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She passed away at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving partner, Michael, and his loving family. She was born in Rutland, Vermont on November 24, 1965, a beloved daughter of the late Donald E. and Elizabeth E. (Morris) Garrow. She was raised in Rutland, graduated Rutland schools and moved to Springfield in 1987. She was employed for many years at Lido's Restaurant in Springfield. She enjoyed cooking, photography and drawing. She loved listening to music and loved animals, most especially her dear cat, Nutmeg. Above all, she loved spending time with her loving family and her many dear friends. She leaves her longtime beloved partner and best friend, Michael F. Barry with whom she lived; Michael's loving children, Michael F. Barry, II of Boston and Lesha T. Barry of Springfield; Michael's cherished grandson, Milo M. Barry Young; her three brothers; and her two sisters including Carlene Golas and her husband, Edward, of Canastota, NY; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Barry family. Her family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. Her Funeral and Burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
