CHICOPEE – Debora N. “Deb” (Meade) Hale, 60, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, September 16, 2017. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on July 3, 1957, a daughter of the late Francis J. Meade, Jr. and Pearl M. (Coderre) Meade Bonville. She was raised in Holyoke and Becket and lived in Fairview since 2015. She leaves her husband, A. Stephen Hale; her children, Joseph M. Buffoni and Amanda P. Campbell; her 10 grandchildren; her five siblings, Francis J. Meade, III, William A. Meade and his wife, Sherry, Michelle P. Dube, Eric M. Meade and his wife, Patty, and Guy C. Meade and his wife, Louise. In addition, she leaves her step-sister, Sharon Bonville; her step-brother, Jere Bonville; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her son, Joshua J. “Josh” Buffoni; her sister, Lisa M. Meade; her step-father, Vernon E. Bonville; and her step brother, Paul Bonville. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 4:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 506 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
