Shirley Ann Leadbetter, 82, of Pembroke, passed away on September 19, 2017. Loving mother to Edward M. Leadbetter and his wife Lizabeth of Whitman, Cheryl A. and her husband Dana Bean of Pembroke, and Brian E. and his wife Brenda Leadbetter of Hanson, David F. Leadbetter of Whitman, and Gail M. Sharp and her fiancé Brian Stephenson of Pembroke. Daughter of the late Maurice and Margaret (Foley) Billotte. Predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Cherished grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Shirley worked for Lite Control in Hanson as well as in Plympton for 24 years. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 22nd from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake church, 580 Monponsett St, Halifax. Graveside services will follow at the Center cemetery in Pembroke.
