In Taunton, Richard A. “Dick” O’Donnell September 17, 2017, Age 81, passed away at th home of Debra and Steven Meunier with whom he resided following a period of declining health while surrounded by his loving family. Richard was the loving husband of the late Margaret (Morrissey) O’Donnell. Richard was born in Brockton, the son of the late Maurice & Lelia Howe) O’Donnell. He was a resident of Taunton and formerly of Cumberland, RI. Richard was a self employed contractor, A to Z Improvements. He enjoyed gardening, reading, the ocean, camping especially at Bourne Scenic Campground with his grand daughters, horses, softball trips and above all spending time with his family. He is survived by his son Craig O’Donnell of Plymouth and his late son Richard O’Donnell and his wife Duvy of Naples, FL. he is also survived by John “Jay” Wilbur of San Diego, CA, David Wibur and his wife Bonnie of Norwich, CT and Debra Meunier and her husband Steven of Taunton, Ma. He was the grandfather of Jonathan, Patrick, Christopher and Nicole O’Donnell and the “Papa” of Lauren Meunier and Lindsey Grady and her husband Zachary and Rhiannon Wilbur and Daryl and Steven Young. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, Ma on Friday, September 22nd
at 7 pm. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 5-7 pm. Burial is private at the request of the family.
