Gerald S. Guay, age 86, died on September 15, 2017 at Morton Hospital. Gerald was born, April 16, 1931 in Taunton to the late Laureat and Alice (Lemieux) Guay. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy while serving in the Korean War. After the Navy, Gerald worked at the N.E. Brass Company where he remained until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his daughter Maureen Tucan. Gerald is survived by his daughters Francine Sousa, Kathleen Rose, Lorraine Prince, Gerald Guay and the former wife Priscella (Broomhead) Guay, including grandchildren and great grandchildren. He leaves his brothers Francis, Norbert, and Maurice Guay and sister Yvette Buffone. He is preceded in death by his sisters Antonia Menard and sister Lucille Guay and brother Donald Guay. He is the uncle to many nieces and nephews. The family thanks the staff at Golden Living Wedgemere for the many kindnesses shown to “Gerry”. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
