Vincent R. Esposito, age 87 of Malden, formerly of Medford, died Sunday at the Wingate At Reading Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Francesca (Lombardi) Esposito. He served in the Army from 02/09/1946 to 02/08/1949. Mr. Esposito received his Master’s Degree from Boston College in 1935, and a certificate in Meteorology from M.I.T. A Malden resident for the last 20 years, formerly of Medford.
He was a Social Worker, employed by the Commonwealth Of Massachusetts, for many years. Mr. Esposito was a member of the Don Orione Home of East Boston. He is survived by his sister Frances Luca of Reading and the late Domenic Esposito, Marie Santini, Josephine Compagnone and Rose Gigante. She is also survivedby many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8.
