Domingas Gomes (89) of Brockton died September 15th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Claudino Gomes Lopes.
She was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Evelino Gomes and Agostinha Vaz. Domingas was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Parish.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Leonezea Lopes of Angola, Augusta Lopes and Maria Andrade both of Brockton, 3 sons, Domingas Gomes of Angola, Antonio Gomes of Brockton and Nataleo Gomes of Sao Filipe, Fogo, Cabo Verde, many grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday September 23rd at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Friday September 22nd from 5-9 pm.
