Obituary

Annette L. ‘Tibby’ (Beaulieu) Gagnon, 101, of Salem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday,
September 13, 2017, at her home in Salem. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry R. Gagnon.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alma (Michaud) Beaulieu. As a young woman and prior to her marriage she worked in retail sales in several of the local stores in Salem.
Following her marriage ‘Tibby’ assisted her husband Henry in managing his painting contracting business. She was an active member of the former St. Joseph Parish, and was a member of the St. Joseph School Alumni and Les Dames de la Ste. Famille.

Annette was a kind and independent woman who’s life revolved around her large extended family and her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie Greene and her husband Kevin of Mountainair, NM, her grandchildren, Nicole Aylwin, Matthew, Stephen, P.J., & Danny Gagnon, Adam & Emily Greene and Kristin Avila and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves two daughters-in-law, Sandra M. Gagnon of Lexington, KY and Marie E. Gagnon of Topsfield as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Peter R, and Henry T. Gagnon, her sisters, Alma Bouchard, Cecile Abodeely, Albertine ‘Betty’ Robinson, Theresa Lamontagne, and her brother, Lucien Beaulieu.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visiting hours on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem [Route 114 / 1-A] to be followed by her Funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of New England, 335 Main St., Unit 8, Wilmington, MA 01887.
