Debra A. Buckley, 62, of Baldwin Drive, Johnston, died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of William B. Buckley. They had been married for 37 years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Lawrence Iadevaia of Greenville and the late Dorothy (Marchetti) Iadevaia. She had lived in Johnston her whole life.
She was a Special education teacher’s assistant in the Smithfield School Department before retiring in 2014.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her children: Krystal Buckley and Matthew Buckley, both of Johnston and her brothers, Lawrence and Paul Iadevaia, both of Smithfield as well as her faithful companions, Roman and Santino.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville at 11am. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Wednesday 8-10am. Burial will be private.
