David Kent Morgan, 63, of Anderson died at home on September 10, 2017.
He was born December 14, 1953 in Anderson the son of Richard Lee and Martha Sue (Tupman) Morgan.
He was a Madison County Sheriff Deputy for 33 1/2 years. He was an avid supporter of Madison County 4-H.
He is survived by his four children, Jennifer (Amos) Busbey, Scott (Jen) Morgan, Shelby (Alan McCurdy) Morgan and Cheyenne Morgan; six grandchildren, Derek, Chelsea, Dominic, Blake, Makenzi and Zoey; his mother, Martha Sue (Tupman) Morgan; sister, Kathy Morgan and his girlfriend, Deborah Witcher.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee "Dick" Morgan and his sister, Lee Ann Morgan.
Service will be held at noon on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Bethany Christian Church. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Madison County 4-H Association.
