Joseph S. Donohue, 57, of Worcester died Friday, September 8th. He is survived by his son. Joseph F. Donohue of Worcester, his brother, Kevin Donohue and his wife, Christine of Worcester; six sisters, Kathleen Bisson of Worcester, Noreen Blanchette of LaPine, OR, Eileen Dickieson of Clinton, Pauline Dubsky and her husband, John of Oxford, Christine Richard and her husband, Timothy of Worcester and Sylvia Andersen of Oxford and his beloved granddaughter, Emilee C. Donohue of Millbury.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Sylvester and Octavia (Gouin) Donohue and was a graduate of Worcester Voke. Joe had been employed as a heat treater at Hard Line Treating. He will be remembered as a hard worker, an accomplished carpenter and handyman who enjoyed fixing everything. His favorite pastime was fishing, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with family, especially his son and granddaughter Emilee.
His funeral is Thursday, September 14th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be private.
