FALL RIVER - Barbara J. (Boyd) O’Brien, 81 of 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA. formerly of 500 Swansea Mall Dr., Swansea, MA, died on Friday at Catholic Memorial Home. She is survived by one Son: Barry P. O’Brien of Warwick, RI, one Daughter: Sarah Goldson of St. Louis, Missouri, one Brother: Thomas Boyd of Lahoya, CA, one Sister: Susan Cartier of Natick, MA, five Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Calvert Boyd.
Born in Fall River, MA the daughter of the late John T. Boyd and the late Lillian J. (Casey) Boyd. She was a resident of Fall River for 5 years. Before retiring, she was a Secretary in legal and medical offices. She was also a member of St. Joseph Church.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, No. Main St. Fall River.
