PARSONSFIELD- David Orland Elliott, Sr., age 74, passed away Saturday, September 9, at home, after battling a long time illness. David was born in South Hiram, ME, on January 4, 1943, the son of the late Orland Elliott and Adelaide Elliott.
A 1963 graduate of Porter High School, where he was well known for his athletic abilities in basketball and baseball, David went on to become a well-respected building contractor in the community where he lived all of his life. He was a member of Day Spring Masonic Lodge in West Newfield, ME. David enjoyed spending time with his family, who meant the world to him. He also
enjoyed spending time outside hunting and finishing, and cheering on his Favorite sports teams. David had so many stories to share and made friends with everyone whose path he crossed.
David is survived by his wife of ten years, Melissa Inglis-Elliott, his beloved children, Angela Harwood and family, David Elliott, Jr. and family, Heather (Lee) Pelletier and family, and Shannon (David) Wesley and family, and his sister Rowena Robertson and Family.
David was very proud of all of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service was held at the Kezar Falls Burial Ground in Porter.
