HALLIE (DAWSON) BROOKS, 85, passed away September 9, 2017.
She was the former president, vice-president and secretary for the PRP Women’s Club, an avid bowler, and a member of Rutledge Road Baptist Church where she was the bookkeeper.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles E. Brooks; her daughter, Bonnie Pilkington; and son-in-law, Johnny Pilkington.
Survivors include her children, Donna Jean Chambers and Kevin Brooks; grandchildren, Melissa Hopewell, Johnathan Pilkington, Kyle Brooks, Matthew Chambers, and Krissy Price (Billy); four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Clarence Dawson; and her companion, Morris Keene.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with private burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 1 – 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
