Victor R. Natale, 84, of Franklin died September 6 in Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Cinelli) Natale who died in 1999.
Born in Boston, June 18,1933, the son of the late Nicholas and Stella (Nazzaro) Natale, Mr. Natale was raised in East Boston and had lived in Hyde Park for many years prior to moving to Franklin 15 years ago.
A graduate of Hyde Park High School, Mr. Natale had been a salesman for the Pastene Food company for over 52 years before retiring. Following his retirement, he continued to mentor new employees of the Pastene company.
Following his retirement, he stayed active. He was a regular member of the Planet Fitness Center in Franklin, a regular at the Franklin Library, gardening, going to Foxwoods and was a fan of the Red Sox and Bruins.
Being in the company of his family and friends was above all what Victor enjoyed the most.
He served in the Army during the Korean War attaining the rank of Corporal.
He is survived by his children, Christine Driscoll and her husband Robert of Franklin and Douglas Natale and his wife Michelle of South Weymouth.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Christopher Gillis and Hannah Driscoll.
Victor is also survived by his siblings, Annette DeSimone of Danvers, Stella Forti of Franklin, Frances Abbate of Hyde Park, and was the brother of the late Marie Capobianco, Nicholas Natale, Marilyn Donabedian, Vincent Natale, Joseph Natale, Alice Piper and Theresa Genovece.
His funeral will be held on Monday, September 11 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4- 8 p.m.
