Tran Lozen Johnson was born February 8, 1970 in Boston, MA to Rosalie Marsh and Edward Lorenzo Mowring. He was the fifth oldest of nine children. He attended and graduated from West Roxbury High School, located in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Tran worked for many years at National Express (The Ride) Boston, MA. His family was very important to him and he loved the Lord, his wife, children, family and friends. He was always the one that ensured that all those around him were entertained and he always made those around him smile. He was compassionate, kindhearted, loving, generous and he cared for all people.
He met and married Doris Sikhakhane in 1998. In that union, there were eight children. Tran accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and served the Lord until his departure from this life.
Tran departed this life on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of nineteen years, Doris Thembi-Johnson. Eight children; Kevin Davis Johnson of West Palm Beach, Florida, Lindiwe Sikhakhane-Johnson of Pretoria South Africa, Tony Johnson and Celiwe (Sisi) Johnson from Brockton, MA; Naica Luca Johnson from Salem, MA, Tran Johnson, Jr., Elijah S. and Ezekiel S. Johnson all from Brockton, MA. Three sisters and five brothers; Louis Johnson from Boston, MA; William Johnson from New Hampshire, Douglas Johnson, Jr. from Gloucester, MA, Ian Johnson from Boston, MA, Natrina Hill (Jr) from Lynn, MA, Juanita Jackson (Jerry) from Peabody, MA, Hazel Johnson from Cambridge, MA and Stephen Mowring from Boston, MA.
One grandchild: Naomi Sikhakhane of Pretoria, South Africa. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, church family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 from 9-10:30AM at the Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton with a Service: 10:30AM.The Reverend Doctor Keith Magee will be Officiating. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
