Obituary

Thomas Michael "Tom" Riley, 79, of Anderson unexpectedly died at his residence, September 2, 2017.
He was born August 1, 1938 in Anderson the son of James Benjamin and Esta Irene (Eastes) Riley.
He served in the United States National Guard.
He retired in 1999 from Delco Remy after 30 years and was employed 9 years at HyPro.
He bowled for 53 years and loved deer hunting and fishing.
Tom is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances Dee (Day) Riley of Anderson, whom he married October 19, 1957; daughter, Pamela D. Riley and son, Joseph Michael Riley; seven grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Sr. Benjamin Smith, Kaydee Riley, Johnathon Benzenbower, Wesley Riley, Britni Riley and Nick Freeman; 14 great grandchildren, brother, Robert Riley, and sister, Carolyn Riley Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Warner, Jack and Bill Riley and sister, Donna (Riley) Douglas.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, September 8, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating and burial following at Bronnenberg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
