David J. McFadden, 71, of Derry, NH, died Monday September 4, 2017 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born in Lowell, MA on November 19, 1945, a son of the late Harold and Alyce (Cullen) McFadden. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam era. Mr. McFadden loved to cook, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and his pets. He retired from New England Nuclear/Dupont in Billerica, MA.
He is survived by his son, David K. McFadden; his daughter, Marianne L. Deshaies; his former wife, Kathy D. McFadden; as well as his three grandchildren, Alyssa, Justin, and David.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 7th from 5 - 7:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service will follow at 7:30pm in the funeral home. Private burial will be in NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710.
