Doherty, John F. of West Roxbury and Braintree, died peacefully September 3rd.
Attended Boston Latin School, Boston College (where he played tackle for the Eagles), and New England Law School. Formidable litigator for forty years.
Predeceased by his wife, Maureen Karen (Maloney). Survived by his three children: Suzanne Hegland and her husband Olav of Canton, John-Paul and his wife Rhonda of Plainville, and Brian and his wife Gina of Braintree. Adored “Binka” to 5 grandchildren: Christian and Isabelle of Canton, Johnny and Teddy of Braintree, and Harry of Plainville. Also missed by his grand-dog, Ralphie. Brother of Henry and wife Leona and family of Andover.
John was an enthusiastic listener and a hearty storyteller, who charmed all who crossed his path, right up until the end. He will be remembered for his enormous intellectual curiosity, lightening quick wit, love of a good argument, and boundless affection for his family.
