South Dartmouth Raymond Oscar Jasmin died Tuesday October 4, 2005 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth Nursing Home after a long Illness. He was the husband of Beatrice (Parent) Jasmin. Survivors include 3 Sisters Rita Fountain and her husband Ellsworth of Somerset MA, Gertrude Powers and Doris Pontes both of Fall River, 1 Brother George Jasmin and his wife Marilyn of Wells River, Vermont. He was also the Brother of the late Julia Davis, Lena Courville, Norman Jasmin, and Lillian Hess.
Mr. Jasmin was born in Fall River MA., and lived in this area all his life. He was the son of the late Angelina (Dubreuil) and Joseph Danien Jasmin. He worked as a Pressman for Acushnet Company. He was a U.S. Marine and Navy Veteran of WW II, and the Korean Conflict.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday October 8, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church South Dartmouth, MA. Visiting hours will be Friday October 7, 2005 from 5-8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
