Obituary

Arthur E. “Rusty” Caudle, Jr., 61, of Franklin, beloved husband and loving father passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Marilyn (Campbell) Caudle and his sister Joanne Caudle as well as his sister-in-law Myong Ae Kim & her husband Shigeru Sasaki and his loving mother-in-law Young Suk Pak.

Rusty is survived by his wife and best friend of 39 years, Myong Cha “Kim” Caudle, his children, Jennifer Caudle of Milford and Jimmy and Christine Caudle, both of Franklin and his grandchildren, Anthony, Gabriella, Kaylani, Joshua and Janelli.

He is also survived by two sisters, Dawn Caudle and her husband Charles Sorbet of California and Patricia Caudle and her husband Joseph Marotta of Taunton, two brothers, James Caudle and his wife Lisa of Foxboro and Robert Caudle and his wife Anna of North Attleboro, his brothers-in-law, Won Bae Kim and his wife Chun of Northborough, Chin Bae Kim of Burlington and In Bae Kim of Burlington and his sister-in-law Myong Ju Kim of Burlington.

Rusty will be very missed by his nine nieces and nephews.

Rusty was born in Boston on November 13, 1955 and resided in Needham for many years until moving to Franklin sixteen years ago. He honorably served in the United States Army for 6 years attaining the rank of sergeant.

Along with his brothers he was the co-owner of New England Air, Inc. in Foxboro since 1989.

When his children were young, he enjoyed coaching many youth sports in the town of Needham, MA.

Rusty enjoyed landscaping, working around his yard, gardening with his “Kimmy”, taking on new projects with his best friend and son Jimmy, and relaxing in his pool at the end of the day.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Wednesday, September 6 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place privately in St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Rusty’s memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
