Marie (Sullivan) Novello an 8 year resident of Malden and former lifelong resident of Charlestown died on Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a short illness. She was 67 years old.
Marie was born in Boston and grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Julie Billiard High School located in the North End of Boston at the time in 1956. She worked as a secretary for Teamsters Union Lacal # 25 for over 25 years. Marie retired in 1998. Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring niece to her special aunt.
Marie is the devoted mother ot Marie McDonald of Malden and the late Robert Novello. She is the loving grandmother to Joseph and Michael McDonald of Malden. She is the beloved sister to Leo T. Sullivan of Squantum, Jackie Sullivan of Malden and the late Joseph F. Sullivan.
Marie's Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. from the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Catherine's Church, 49 Vine Street, Charlestown, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 7, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
