Mary S. (Silvia) Flint, age 92 of Berkley, passed away on August 29, 2017 at her son’s home with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert J. Flint, Sr.
Mary was born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Antone and Mary Silvia.
Mrs. Flint was employed for many years with the Board of Health for the town of Berkley. She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.
She was the loving mother of Jeffrey S. Flint and his companion Karen Lema, Kevin J. Flint and his companion Hope Smith , Herbert S. Flint, Jr all of Berkley and Donna J. Rogers of FL., and a daughter in law Mary Flint of Fall River, grandmother of 13 great grandmother of 15 and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Antone Silvia, Jr of Taunton, George Baptista of VA, Sarah Silvia of Wareham and Marilyn Smith of Dighton. Mary was also the mother of the late Michael J. Flint, sister of the late Joseph Silvia, Dorothy and Madeline Pacheco, Alice Souza, Rose Brophy and the late Edith Flint.
Visiting hours will be held in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm, a prayer service will begin at 6:30 pm.

Family and friends may assemble at the Silva Funeral Home at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Interment with committal prayers will be held at 11 am in Berkley Common Cemetery.
