Dianne M. (Birmingham) Gibson, 73, of Franklin, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Vye A. “Gibby” Gibson who died in 2015.
Born in Milford on June 30, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Simone M. (Lessard) Birmingham.
Mrs. Gibson was a resident of Franklin for the past 54 years and had worked at Fenwal in Ashland for over 35 years until her retirement.
She loved going to Newfound Lake in New Hampshire and cherished her dogs, especially her beloved, Rosie.
Mrs. Gibson also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonny Grimes and her husband Donald “Punk” Grimes of Medway and Debby Gibson-Rivers of Franklin, four grandchildren, Matthew Grimes, Krystal Brown and her husband Stephen, Kristopher Kenny and Jimmy Gibson and her great-grandson Wesley Brown.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary Alice Birmingham.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 31 from 9 - 11 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place privately in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
