Obituary:
Carol Anne Goren passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on August 26, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses. She was born to the late James and Theresa Major of Brockton, MA on March 27, 1962 and was a caring sister to the late Marcelle Major. She was a loving, devoted wife to her husband and best friend of the past 36+ years, Michael Goren of Raynham, MA. She was a fiercely loving mother to her one and only child, Nicolas Goren of Raynham, MA.She thoroughly enjoyed cooking and was known as a master chef to her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Bailey, who misses her very much. She is survived by both her husband and her son; she also leaves behind a brother, William Major of Cheyenne, WY; a loving daughter-in-law, Amy Goren of Raynham, MA; her sister-in-laws, Eve Rigo of Norton, MA, Sherrie Goren of Sanford, FL, and Dianne Major of Cheyenne, WY; her brother-in-laws Ed Goren of Sanford, FL and George Rigo of Norton, MA. It with an extremely heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I have to announce my mother, Carol Anne Goren, died on August 26, 2017. Thankfully she passed peacefully at home rather than in any hospital, which is how she would have wanted to go. My mother was my first friend, my first teacher, and my strongest and most vocal supporter throughout my entire life. She would give anything to make me happy. Over the past sixteen years, I’ve watched my mother go through two liver transplants, kidney dialysis, and countless hospital stays. She was an absolute warrior throughout all of her illnesses. I am extremely thankful for her constant determination as she was able to see me graduate high school, see me through college, and dance with me at my wedding. Even though I would do anything to talk with her again and see her face, it would be selfish for me to ask her for anymore. I know she is at peace and pain free now. Until we see each other again Mom, goodbye. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me. I would not be the man I am today without you. I will love you forever and always and keep you in my heart for the rest of my daysxoxo. –Nicolas
