Joseph Thomas Ratta, long time resident of Jamaica Plain, Aug 27th 2017 at age 90. He is survived by his brother Francis A. Ratta of Jamaica Plain. Sister in Law, Pauline, Nephews Michael and Andrew Ratta all of Roslindale. Niece, Sarah Ratta and Grand Niece Emma Rose of Avon. Joseph served in the U.S Army during World War II, was a member, past commander, and chaplain of the American Legion Post 76 at Forest Hills. Joe was well Traveled, very involved with family and friends and was an avid sportsman.Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday Sept.5 from 4 – 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept. 6 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Jamaica Plain at 10 AM. Interment at St. Michaels Cemetery Jamaica Plain.
