Nelda Clementina (Susi) Federico of Medford died on Sunday, August 27, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Sulmona, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Achille and Rosetta (Federico) Susi. Nelda came to the U.S. in 1963 and settled in Boston's North End. She has been a Medford resident since 1983.
Nelda was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Federico, and the devoted mother of Anna Andreottola and Domenic Federico, both of Medford, and the late Frank Federico. She was the loving grandmother of Michelle Andreotolla and Anthony Andreotolla, both of Medford. Nelda was the sister of the late Anna Federico, Donato, Oreste, and Francesco Susi, Ofelia Ricci, and Orlando Susi. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, August 31 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett. Visiting hours Wednesday, August 30, from 4 through 8 PM.
