Helen F. (Mattison) Beaulieu, 84 of Westport passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Edmond Beaulieu for over 50 years.
Born in Providence, daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Heffernan) Mattison, she had lived in Westport since 1966. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, a member of the Westport Grange and the American Legion James Morris Post 145 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Beaulieu was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, spending time with her grandchildren and genealogy.
Including her husband, survivors include two children: Joseph Beaulieu of Westport, Mary Caouette, her husband Chris and their children Caden, Caroline and Ellery of Portsmouth; five dear step-children: Barry F. Beaulieu and his wife Eileen, Douglas Beaulieu and his wife Fran, Linda Beaulieu all of Westport, Ellen Duquette and her husband Ken and Sally Barboza and her husband Chuck all of FL; a sister: Elizabeth Woods of Central Falls; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Walter Mattison and Mary M. Bailey and step-mother to the late Bruce Beaulieu.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10 AM.
Calling hours Wednesday 5-7 PM.
Burial in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
