Obituary

Ronald Paul Hartsock, 76, of Londonderry, NH and Naples, FL. Passed away, Wednesday August 23, 2017 at Vitas Hospice House in Naples after a brief illness. Mr. Hartsock was born on June 26, 1941 in Williamsport, PA and was a son of the late Elwood and Bernadine (Saar) Hartsock. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Joanne M. (Lunt) Hartsock in 2001. Raised and educated in Williamsport Mr. Hartsock lived for many years in Londonderry, NH and later resided in Naples, FL.

Ronald served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Airforce and had been employed for 12 years with Raytheon Corp., prior to his retirement in 2005. He was a musician for most of his life also and played with the David Anthony Orchestra, as well as numerous other bands over the years.

Members of the family include his son David Hartsock and his wife Alyson of Hollis, NH, his daughter, Dianne Brennan and husband Torry of Oviedo, FL, his significant other, Theresa Bill of Naples, FL, his four grandchildren Savannah and Brooke Brennan and Maxwell and Madeline Hartsock; two brothers, Larry Hartsock and wife Dorothy of Williamsport, PA and Karl R. Hartsock of Medford, NJ; two nephews, John R. and Kevin J. Hartsock, both of Montoursville, PA, as well as brother and sister-in-law David and Karen Demmien and nieces Michelle Bahr and Jennifer Powers.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 5 – 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 30th at 10:00am in St. Mark Parish, One South Road, Londonderry.
