Corrine McNamee Anthony,91, died at Yalobusha General Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. "Pete", as she was called by her friends, was born in Water Valley and was retired from Big Yank Corp. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Water Valley.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2005 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Funeral services will be in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 3:00 pm , Oct 6, 2005, with Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Pallbearers are : Ray Brasel, J. D. Brasel, Bill McNamee, Mike Lea Anthony, Randy Forest Anthony and Chip Odom.
Survivors include: son, J. C. Anthony of Madison, MS : sister, Sue McNamee Brasel of Itta Bena, MS : brother, Pat McNamee of Forest City, AR, two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Anthony in death were her husband, Jack Anthony (1987) and her parents, Patrick and Lou Cosby McNamee.
