LACONIA - Charles "Charlie" Lewis Peavey Jr., 52, of 135 Pleasant Street, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born on March 3, 1965 in Laconia, the son of the late Charles L. Sr. and Dorothy May (Ceily) Peavey. Charlie worked as a prep cook at Shorty's Mexican Roadhouse. He enjoyed hiking, swimming, sewing, costume creating and making dresses for his nieces. He was happiest when he was with his family, especially his great nieces and nephews. Uncle Charlie was loved and well known in the community and will be missed by so many. He impacted and infected so many with his generosity, fabulous sense of humor and his genuine smile. Our families' greatest memory was all our trips to Union Cemetery to visit those who had passed before us.
He is survived by his brother, Vince Sylvia of Concord, 2 sisters; Lena Jameson and Katrina "Peppy" Plourde of Laconia, 3 nieces; Amy Jameson of Franklin, Jennifer (Peavey) Arizmendi of Belmont, Lisa (Peavey) Brousseau of Laconia; 2 nephews, Jeffery Jameson of Concord and Nicholas Jameson of Belmont, 4 grand nieces; Leah Jameson, Hannah Bolduc, Izabella Peavey, and Sirenitea Arizmendi, 6 grand nephews; Jacob Jameson, Joshua Bolduc, Raul Arizmendi Jr, Domanick Arizmendi, Derrick Higgins and Parker Peavey
He is predeceased by his nephew, Raul Arizmendi Sr, his mother Dorothy Peavey and his father and step mother; Charles Sr and Cecile Peavey.
There will be no calling hours.
