Antone “Tony” Correia age 86 born 4-6-31. Born to Joseph and Mary Correia in Fall River, MA. He was an honorable member of the Fall River Police Dept. and a former Marine. Tony passed May 19, 2017 in his home in Franklin NC with his wife of 63 yrs. Marie Correia.
He was always an active member of his community and everyone was his friend. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He also loved the New England Patriots.
He is now joined with his son Robert ( Bob ) Correia and his grandson Bobby Correia, great grandson Dylin, brothers Arthur, Eddy, Al, Louie and his sisters Inez, Mary, Tilly and Theresa. He is survived by wife Marie Correia, son Paul Correia and daughter Ann Marie Correia; grandchildren Jennifer, Kristy, Michael, Chad and Katelynd, Albert and Harley Simmel. Tony had 3 great-grand sons and 4 great-granddaughters. Sisters Irene, Madeline and Brother Joe.
His memorial service is August 28 at 10:00 A.M. in St Michael Church, Fall River. Burial in St. Patrick cemetery.
