Idalina S. (Pacheco) Rodrigues, age 77 of East Taunton, passed away on August 24, 2017 at Morton Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Agostinho A. Rodrigues.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jacinto and Maria (Rego) Pacheco-Adriano.
Before retiring at age 60, Mrs. Rodrigues was employed with the former Texas Instruments for over 30 years.
Idalina was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She also loved to travel.
Besides her loving husband of 55 years, she is survived by her children, Fernando S. and Agostinho S. Rodrigues both of East Taunton, grandmother of Samantha-Jo, Sabrina-Elizabeth, Agostinho, Ana-Rose and Grace. She was the sister of Jose Pacheco-Adriano of Attleboro, Adelina Raposa of Taunton, Carmina Vincente of New Bedford, Conceicao Pacheco of Dighton and was the sister of the late Valentina Paiva.
Idalina’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Family Church Middleboro Ave, East Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 29th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
