Bonita M. Donahue, 72, formerly of Northfield, NH passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Presidential Oaks in Concord, NH. She was born on August 15, 1945 in Peabody, MA a daughter of the late William H. and Bertha (Petkus) Allin. Raised and educated in Stoneham, MA, Bonnie attended N. Essex Community College. She was a resident of Derry, NH from 1968 until 2012. She retired in 2005 after a long career with the IRS. Bonnie was formerly active in the Booster Clubs for Babe Ruth Baseball and Pop Warner football in Derry. Those who knew her benefitted from her wisdom, laughed at her witty sarcasm and witnessed her unselfish giving.
Bonnie is survived by her three sons, Charles Cremen and his wife Carol of Northfield, NH, John Cremen of Indianapolis, IN, and Scott Smith of Manchester, NH, three grandchildren, Gabrielle, John and Thomas and one great granddaughter, Rosalyn. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth F. Donahue, Sr., as well as her two sisters, Patricia Goodwin and Nancy Allin.
After cremation, a graveside service was held on Monday August 28, 2017 at 10:00am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Waverley St., North Andover, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 04250-0301.
