Blanche T. Daigle of Oxford, passed peacefully on August 22 in Southbridge Healthcare with family at her side. Born in Worcester daughter of Joseph Pietrzak and Czeslawa (Burzynski) Pietrzak. She worked for the City of Worcester in the Treasurer's Office 25 years. Retiring as Senior Clerk. She is survived by daughters Gail Gagliastro, husband Francis Gagliastro, Patricia Carpenter and Rodney Smith, sons, Norman Daigle and Ronald Daigle with whom she made her home. She is also survived by a brother Joseph Pietrzak; grandchildren, Kimberly Dunn, Jennifer Cherimingo, Karen Erickson, Steven Gagliastro, Rhonda Daigle, Lindsey Smith and Michael Carpenter, 10 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Banach and a brother Chester Pietrzak. Blanche loved watching the Red Sox. She also spent a lot of fun times at Summit Elder Care, Charlton.
The funeral will be held on Saturday August 26, 2017 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday August 25, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
