WILLIAMSON - Annie Ruth Williamson, 82, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 22, 2017 at her Yulee residence.
She was born February 28, 1935 in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Nassau County 65 years ago. She was devoted to her family and dedicated her life to taking care of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and was an expert seamstress. She was a creative and skilled crafter and could do anything she set her mind to.
Mrs. Williamson was predeceased by her husband, Johnnie Williamson and by a brother, Lowell Commander.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Dunman (Lawrence); two sons, Randy Williamson (Vivian) and Terry Williamson; a sister, Catherine Ziddick; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, in the Stephens chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Vickie Dube' officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
