Devoted son of the late Paul G. and Rita C. Day of South Boston. Brother of Martha M. Wheet and her husband Raymond of Cotuit. Dearly beloved cousin and devoted friend of William Day Hicks and his wife Anne Louise of South Boston. Survived by his many cousins and a fleet of devoted friends. Also survived by his former wife, Diane M. Hill of Middleboro.
Visiting Hours will be held at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Friday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brigid Church in South Boston on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Late member and former Commodore of the Boston Harbor Yacht Club, late member of the Columbia Yacht Club, late member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 33, formerly licensed builder, late charter member of the Hibernian Society, former sailing instructor of the City of Boston, former Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher’s memory to St. Brigid Church.
