Allen D. Scott went to be with the Lord on (August 22, 2017) in Anderson, Indiana.
The family will be hosting a Gathering, which will be a time of visiting and remembering with the family from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 11:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Florida Station Church of God, 1045 W 375 N Anderson, IN.
Allen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 6, 1943. He graduated from Anderson High School and then Ball State University. He married Martha J. Scott on July 2, 1966 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. He worked for Guide Division of General Motors for 36 years before retiring. He attended Florida Station Church of God where he was a member of the Board of Elders for many years and served on the Property and Grounds team.
Allen is preceded in death by his father, Nathan W. Scott and his mother, Lucille H. Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Martha J. Scott; his daughter, Michelle Marshel, his son Douglas Scott and wife Kelly, his son Clark Scott and wife Amy; his brother W. Sherman Scott and wife Carol, his sister Treva Epperly and husband Jim; his grandchildren Lacie Marshel, Jordyn Marshel, Blake Marshel, Lillian Scott, Grant Scott, Greta Scott, Cloee Scott; his great-grandchildren Daytreon and De’Ayra Marshel.
