Lillie Pearl White Hall, 90, of Lilburn, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, August 25, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. David Biggers officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery, Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Hall was born December 26, 1926, in Telfair County, Georgia, to the late Milligan & Vinnie Baughcum White. She moved to Atlanta in 1955 and also lived in Gwinnett County for most of her life. She was a homemaker and worked in a bomb factory during World War II. She loved to sing and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo, and was very independent. Mrs. Hall highly regarded clean dishes and perfected a ritual of making sure they were spotless. She was a member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta.
She is survived by her children: Joe Hall & LuEllen of Monroe, Ronnie Hall & Judy of Braselton, Ray Hall & Wanda of Covington, Johnny Hall & Judy of Loganville, Wade Hall & Pam of Dacula and Paula Hall Harrison & Doug of Loganville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Avery of Lithia Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hall; siblings: Irene White Anderson, Mildred White Rogers, Minnie Mae White Guinn and D.C. White.
