Janet M. (Roy) Leduc 78, of Franklin, died peacefully at her home, Friday August 18, 2017 following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand R. Leduc, who died in 2006.
Born January 20, 1939, in Fall River, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Victor P. and Albina (Rivard) Roy, she was a former longtime resident of Fall River before moving to Franklin.
She was raised and educated in Fall River and until her retirement several years ago, worked as a baker at the former Almacs Supermarket.
She enjoyed painting, walking, traveling across country in her camper, spending time at the beach and going to the gym.
Janet is survived by her children, Paul R. Leduc and his wife Bethany Cloutier of Acushnet, Michael R. Leduc of Scottsdale, Arizona, Steven N. Leduc of Manchester, Connecticut and Lisa J. Goldsmith and her husband Joseph of Franklin, a brother Norman P. Roy of Riverside, California.
Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Jacqueline Leduc, Cameron, Hayden, Vaughn & Halle Goldsmith and Kaitlin Leduc.
A private family service, with burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, will be held.
