Madalyn “Sally” Mucci, passed away on Thursday morning, September 29, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford, She was the wife of the late Louis F. Mucci. She was eighty-nine years old.
Born and raised in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Gaynor) and Charles A. Slocomb. Sally as she was affectionately known was devoted to raising her family, she enjoyed music, playing the piano, reading and rooting for the Boston Red Sox.
Surviving are her four children, Margaret ”Peggy” Heimeyer and her husband Larry of Millbrae, CA., Louis F. Mucci III and his wife Peggy of El Dorado Hills, CA., Daryl and Kevin “KC” Mucci both of Medford. Two grandsons Louis and Michael Mucci. One brother Donald Slocomb of CA., and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband Louis she was predecesed by her brother Henry ”Buddy” Slocomb.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Thursday at 9 a. m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford - Somerville at 10. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
