Obituary

John M. “JaMike” Carluccl 44, of Franklin, died suddenly August 18, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Heather M. (Swahn) Carlucci, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.

Born October 17, 1972 in Milford, a cherished son of Albino and Elizabeth “Betty” (Narducci) Carlucci, he was a lifelong Franklin resident.

He was raised and educated in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1990. JaMike excelled in wrestling and was a member of the wrestling team for all 4 years of high school. In 1996 he started JMC Concrete Floors, Inc. a well-known company in the area, and was dedicated and proud of the work that he did.

JaMike’s family was everything to him, he treasured spending time with them, whether it was taking his children to different sporting events, being on his boat fishing, or at the beach house in Narragansett. He will be forever loved and missed.

He was a wrestling coach at New England Gold Wrestling Club and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Jordan M., Jacob A., and Riley J. Carlucci, brothers, Nicholas A. Carlucci and his wife Elsie , Anthony D. Carlucci, David M. Carlucci and his wife Colleen and Thomas M. Carlucci and his wife Karen all of Franklin, a sister-in-law Holly Kingkade and her husband Ken of Milford, a brother-in-law Jeffrey Swahn and his wife Nichole of Franklin, his mother-in-law Linda Cheschi and her husband Louis of Milford. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass Friday Aug. 25th, at 10AM in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Calling hours are Thursday from 3-8PM at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Carlucci Children’s Educational Fund c/o Rockland Trust 58 Main St. Franklin, MA 02038.
