Renald J. “Renny” Rochete, 64, of Lawrence passed away on August 12, 2017 at the Wingate of Andover.
Renny was born June 2, 1953 to his hardworking parents Renald E. and Marguerite (McAvoy) Rochette in Lawrence, MA. He felt the call of duty and service to his country and enlisted in the Marines. Renny was a proud and decorated veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. After being discharged from the military, he worked as a carpenter. Renny was the type of selfless man who was very generous and with no hesitation would give you the shirt off of his back. He had a smile that would light up a room and he was fond of drawing and painting. Renny touched many lives in many different circles and he will be fondly remembered and missed.
Renny is survived by his loving mother, Marguerite A. Rochette of Methuen. He was the beloved brother to his two sisters; his sister, Denise Lessard and her husband Gilbert of Haverhill, and his sister, Janine Kissinger of Methuen, he was also the cherished brother to David Rochette and his wife Susan of Salem, NH. Renny is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Renald E. Rochette.
Visitation for Renny will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4 – 6 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours, followed by military honors. Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 12 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303.
