Frank F. Rosa, Jr., 75, of Little Compton peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, August 13, 2017 with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Judith (Goulart) Rosa with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.
Mr. Rosa was born in Fall River, son of the late Frank F. and Lillian (Shepard) Rosa, Sr. and had been a lifelong resident of Little Compton. Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He led by example always showing that family came before everything else. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an electrical engineer for N.U.W.C. for 32 years. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. He was a loyal Boston Red Sox fan and an avid sports car enthusiast. Mr. Rosa enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife and loved his canine companion Fred.
Survivors along with his wife include his 3 sons: Frank Rosa and his wife Cynthia of Westport, Greg Rosa and his wife Beth of S. Kingstown and Kyle Rosa of Bala Cynwyd, PA; his 3 daughters: Karlene Sharer and her husband Joe of Sugar Land, TX, Kimberley Rodrigues and her husband David of Swansea and Betsy Chin and her husband Jim of Raynham; 18 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Esther Adams.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.
