James M. Gibbons, age 64, passed away at home on Aug. 12, 2017. He was born in Springfield on Dec. 12, 1952. He worked as a security guard for Baystate and as a park ranger for Forrest Park before moving to California and working for the VA. James was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He leaves four sisters Marilyn Hearn and her husband Richard of Chicopee, Barbara Crawford and her husband Burnard of Fort Myers, FL, Nancy Barnes and her husband Bob of South Carolina and Linda Gibbs and her husband Steven of Chatham also many nieces and nephews. All services are private at the convenience of the family.
