Olga M. (DiSalvio) Golden, 94, of Whitefield, NH, passed away on Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Morrison Nursing Home. She was born in Quincy, MA on April 14, 1923 the daughter of Panfilo and Lena (Chella) DiSalvio and was raised and educated there. She had been employed as a factory worker and then as a Library Assistant for many years at the North Quincy High School. Olga enjoyed attending church at St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy, MA, enjoyed dining out and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She lived with her daughter in Weymouth then Plymouth, MA before moving to the area in 2008.
Family includes her former husband Raymond Golden of Wilmington, DE; her daughter Brenda Golden Hallisey and husband Timothy Hallisey of Gorham, NH; grandchildren Nicholas Jackunas of Burnsville, MN, Matthew Jackunas of Plymouth, MA, Luke Jackunas of Plymouth, MA and Jacquelyn Hallisey of Gorham, NH; great granddaughter Lena Jackunas of Plymouth, MA; brothers Edward DiSalvio of Weymouth, MA, Gerald DiSalvio of Quincy, MA and Paul DiSalvio Quincy, MA; sisters Virginia Roccuzzo of Quincy, MA and Angelina Bastarache of CA; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several siblings.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday August 18, 2017 at 10 AM at Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham, NH. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday August 25 at 11:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy, MA. The Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham is in charge of the arrangements.
