Nicholas D. “Nick” LaValley, 25, of Pasadena MD lost his battle with addiction on Saturday August 12, 2017 at his mother's home in Londonderry, NH. Nick was born in Ridgewood, NJ on March 28, 1992 and had been a resident of Delray Beach for the past two years, before recently moving to Pasadena to be with his girlfriend, formerly living in Londonderry. He was a graduate of Londonderry High School, Class of 2011. Nick had worked for several years at the 99 Restaurant in Londonderry, and more recently found a love of cooking and worked as a cook in Pasadena, MD.
Nick always enjoyed being with his friends cracking jokes and having a great time, as a younger boy he loved playing counter strike, skateboarding and football. Nick was an avid NE sports fan, loving his Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots! He loved to give his older brother Tom a hard time all the time about anything he could ! When Nick was in his late teens he unfortunately turned to drugs and fought that battle feverishly to the very end, but his addiction proved stronger than he was.
He had a great love for his cats Pumpkin and His favorite kitty Gizmo. Nick had an amazing smile, was kind and gentle and would give you the shirt off his back even when he really didn't have it to give. Nick will be remembered as the Kid that enjoyed the simple things in life and was loved by all who were lucky enough to be called his friend. He will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his father, Thomas LaValley and his wife Kira of Parrish, FL; his mother, Stacie (Possien) LaValley and her partner Joseph Amico, Sr. of Londonderry; his girlfriend, Allison March and their unborn daughter Leah of Pasadena, MD; his paternal grandmother, Judith LaValley of Lakewood, NJ; his brother, Thomas LaValley of Orlando, FL; his aunt, Patricia Damiano of Point Pleasant, NJ; his cousin, Joseph Damiano of Point Pleasant, NJ; as well as great aunts, second cousins, and many friends.
